These are just some of the things people are saying about Rachel West Kramer and her new album, "Redeeming Love." Rachel is a Christian vocalist and speaker with Hands of Love Ministry and Electric Station Records. Hands of Love is a Central Illinois-based non-profit evangelistic outreach organization founded in 1998 and Electric Station Records is the ministry's independent record label.
Rachel graduated from Bradley University with a degree in vocal performance and was awarded the prestigious Presser Award for outstanding musicianship. During her college career, she also spent a summer on tour with the popular Continental singers.
In 2003, Rachel traveled with the Grace Singers to Washington, DC in order to sing for the National Prayer Breakfast with President and First Lady Bush in attendance. She has also sang with Larnelle Harris, Steve Green and Wintley Phipps in the modern oratorio entitled, “SAVIOUR.”
Rachel sings and speaks throughout the Midwest and beyond for various concerts, retreats, women’s conferences, prayer breakfasts and banquets. She also acts as programming coordinator and host for the ministry’s popular RiverLife Gospel Music Cruises aboard “The Spirit of Peoria” Riverboat. In addition to her busy singing and speaking schedule, Rachel also leads worship along with her husband at their home church, Grace Presbyterian, in Peoria, IL.
For the last seven years, Rachel has led two area ongoing Bible studies. Her passion is to encourage women of all ages, backgrounds and denominations as they gather weekly to study the Word of God. The studies have been attended by upward to 130 women each semester with multiple studies branching off throughout the region. Rachel’s heart for God’s Word is evident as she shares of His redeeming and refining ways of making us more like Him for His glory.
Rachel and her husband Scott are the proud parents of two children, Maria (13) and Weston (11).
